Canberra International Airport Parking

You can park at Canberra Airport for an extended period at a lot close to the terminal. Parking lots are available daily beginning at 4 AM and closing 30 minutes after the final flight arrives or after all overseas passengers have been processed (whichever is the latest).

Disabled Parking at Canberra Airport

All four parking garages provide designated spaces for those with mobility impairments. These spots are situated near the terminal buildings. Wheelchair users can access the cash registers with ease. However, a customer care team member will assist you if you need help with the ticket or pay machines by pressing the help button.

Pick-Up Parking at Canberra Airport

Our red outdoor parking lot is just two minutes from the arrivals hall, where the free 10-minute pick-up is located. Free parking is available in the designated areas for the first 10 minutes. Vehicles parked for longer than the initial 10 minutes will be charged the standard cost. Look at this map to find where the Free 10-Minute Pickup Parking Spaces are located.

The Express Pick-up is a short, covered walk just 20 meters from the arrivals hall, on the ground level of the lush Indoor Park. There will be signs directing you to an "Express Pickup Lounge."

Weekend Parking Special at Canberra Airport

Weekends generally provide a welcome diversion from the week. Parking in one of our outdoor lots only costs you $45 per day. You may park in the outdoor lots beginning at 3:00 on Friday and must remove your vehicle before they close on Sunday.

The discount is weekend-to-weekend. Please note that the discounted parking cost is only valid between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and that the regular outdoor parking rates will apply after that.

Bicycle Parking at Canberra Airport

The rental car lot entry at Canberra Airport is conveniently located next to a bike rack on the ground level of the covered blue car park.

To prevent your bike from being taken, please lock it up in the designated place.

Parking your bike on a sidewalk or other pedestrian area, in front of a door, or near a fire hydrant, hose reel, or stairwell is prohibited.

Forms of Payment at Canberra Airport

Guests are asked to take a ticket at the boom gate's entrance and pay at the attendant's booth or one of the automated pay stations before leaving the parking lot.

Machines issue receipts and take all major credit cards, cash, and coins (except 5-cent coins) and all bills (except $100). You'll be able to leave the parking lot with your paid ticket.
